About Shannon

Shannon lives with her husband of almost 29 years, Dave, in Monument, Colorado. She has four children, ages 18–23. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, baking, riding bikes, spending time with friends, and long walks with her Weimeraner puppy, Kylo.

Shannon has worked part-time as a pharmacist offering treatment for physical healing for over 29 years, but only recently did she begin to pursue training for soul and spirit level healing.

Today, Shannon is a Certified Master’s Splankna Practitioner and renews her practice annually at Splankna Training conferences. In 2020, she decided to pursue a Master's degree in Pastoral Counseling degree to further her outreach, which she completed in early 2021.

Shannon has had the blessing of working with many families, couples, women, and teens in her time as a pastoral counselor, and she looks forward to introducing more people to the emotional and relational healing found in the principles and application of Scripture.

But I am like an olive tree, flourishing in the house of God; I trust in God’s unfailing love forever and ever.

Psalm 52:8, NIV

About Flourishing Faith Ministry

Psalm 52:8 is Flourishing Faith Ministry’s banner verse. Each counseling session reminds Shannon of God’s faithfulness and the fruit He produces as He prunes away the dead parts of our life.

As the heart is healed, it is more and more capable of trust in the One who is always trustworthy; and as we learn to trust and rest in God’s love, we will find our lives resemblant of a flowering and flourishing tree.

This sort of thriving and flourishing, found only in trusting the love of God, is the goal of Flourishing Faith Ministry.
